October 30th Storm Update

Concord, NH – Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after touring storm damaged areas in Carroll and Grafton County:

“The resiliency of New Hampshire is inspiring,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “As I have toured the state in the aftermath of the October 30th storm, I am encouraged by Granite Staters strength, determination, and compassion as they work to rebuild their homes, repair their roads, and support their neighbors.”

As of 11:00 AM, on November 1, 2017, there were 67,258 power outages statewide; 190 road closures; eight open warming centers; and three open shelters. Call 211 or your local fire department for the most current shelter information. If your power is out, call your utility company.
