Governor Chris Sununu Nominates Frank Edelblut as Commissioner of New Hampshire Department of Education
Concord, NH – Governor Chris Sununu this morning brought forth to the Executive Council the nomination of Frank Edelblut for commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Education.
Governor Sununu said of today’s nomination, “I am thrilled to have Frank Edelblut join our team and help to provide students in New Hampshire a better education and a pathway toward brighter futures. I have the utmost confidence that Frank’s expertise and his unique perspective in the field of education will allow us to train the focus of our efforts on empowering teachers and families, bringing about a stronger, 21st century education system.”
A former state Representative (District 38) and Republican candidate for governor, Frank Edelblut worked as a Certified Public Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a successful entrepreneur. He most recently served as CEO and Founder of Control Solutions International and as Chief Financial Officer for the Niagara Corporation.“I am honored today to be nominated by Governor Sununu, joining him in his work to improve New Hampshire’s education system and to prepare our students as they enter an increasingly competitive American workforce,” Frank Edelblut said of the announcement. “I am confident that together we can affect positive change and I look forward to our work ahead.”
