New Hampshire Tech Industry Leads the Nation in Jobs Growth

Concord, NH - Today, following the release of a new report by The Computing Technology Industry Association which shows New Hampshire as having the second highest tech-sector job growth in 2018, adding 2,819 jobs, Governor Sununu issued the following statement:

"The fact that New Hampshire's economy is once again ranked as a national leader comes as no surprise, thanks to our pro-jobs, pro-growth policies," said Governor Chris Sununu. "Our focus in the past few years has been to open doors of opportunity for New Hampshire companies, allowing for innovation to abound in the Granite State's business-friendly environment. These latest numbers are yet another sign that New Hampshire continues to set the example for other states on how to best encourage economic growth."

The report also shows the tech industry accounts for 13.8% of New Hampshire's economy - a top five ranking. Additionally, New Hampshire is one of the top ten states for net tech employment concentration, employing nearly 10% of the state's workforce.
