New Hampshire Receives Additional SOR Grant Funding

Concord, NH - Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the followings statement after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced a second installment of funding for the State Opioid Response grants. New Hampshire will receive an additional $11.9M.

"Here in New Hampshire, we are taking an innovative approach to tackling the opioid crisis and our federal partners in Washington, D.C. are taking notice. Last month, I sat down with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Seema Verma, Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to highlight our state's early success with the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant and made a strong request for supplemental funding as it becomes available. Today, we received word that we would receive an additional $11.9M in funding."
