New Hampshire Delivers on Mental Health Priorities

Concord, NH – Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after the release of the Report on Priorities for Implementation of New Hampshire’s 10-Year Mental Health Plan:

“Thanks to strong bipartisan support, we rebuilt New Hampshire’s mental health system from the ground up and are focused on ensuring that Granite Staters are provided with the very best mental health services,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “Today’s report released by Commissioner Meyers and DHHS shows that we have made meaningful progress implementing our top mental health priorities – from increasing Medicaid provider rates included in the biennial budget I signed just weeks ago, to our work on suicide prevention training in schools. There is still more work to be done, but mental health services provided in New Hampshire are stronger today than ever before.”
