Governor Sununu Statement Following Fiscal Committee Vote to Approve Hospital Capacity Funds

Concord, NH – Today, following approval of targeted items brought forth by the Department of Health and Human Services to address capacity challenges that New Hampshire Hospitals are facing today, Governor Sununu issued the following statement:

“I appreciate the Fiscal Committee acting on an expedited basis to approve these critical funds which are a necessary first step in addressing health care capacity challenges in New Hampshire,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “I look forward to bringing these items before the Council for their consideration in short order.”

Governor Sununu wrote to members of the Fiscal Committee and Executive Council earlier this week urging them to approve the Department of Health and Human Services’ requests. A copy of Governor Sununu’s letter can be found here.
