Governor Chris Sununu Statement On The Joint Legislative Task Force On The Wayfair Decision

Concord, NH - Today, following the completion of the work of the Joint Legislative Task Force on the Wayfair Decision, Governor issued the following statement:

"The Wayfair decision has created enormous uncertainty, and it is critical that we come together on a bipartisan basis to provide as much protection as we can for our businesses," said Governor Chris Sununu. "I thank the Joint Legislative Task Force for their work, and for their unanimous vote to recommend adoption of a strong piece of legislation. This proposal is a critical first step in what will be an ongoing effort, and I urge the full House and Senate to pass this bill when they meet in Special Session next Wednesday, July 25th. Our businesses are counting on us, and we must not let them down."
