Governor Chris Sununu Statement on Granite Advantage Health Care Program

Concord, NH -Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement on SB 313, reforming New Hampshire's Medicaid and Premium Assistance Program – the Granite Advantage Health Care Program:

"We have worked tirelessly over the past several months with our federal partners in Washington to demand increased innovation and flexibility in how our state runs Medicaid program," said Governor Chris Sununu. "The Granite Advantage Health Care Program is a New Hampshire plan that protects taxpayers and the General Fund, saves the federal taxpayers approximately $200 million, provides 50,000 Granite Staters with healthcare, and stabilizes our individual market. I applaud the House of Representatives for overwhelmingly passing this fiscally responsible plan today. We look forward to working with members of the House Finance Committee to get this done."
