Governor Chris Sununu Signs SB 263 Into Law

Concord, NH – Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after signing SB 263, relative to anti-discrimination protection for students in public schools into law:

"SB 263 continues our work to ensure that New Hampshire is a place where every person, regardless of their background, has an equal and full opportunity to pursue their dreams and to make a better life for themselves and their families. By signing this bill, we are extending anti-discrimination protections, which already exist under current law, to students in public schools. Our children are the future of this state, and they deserve nothing less than the same protections provided to adults in housing, employment, and public accommodations.
