Governor Chris Sununu to Nominate Sarah C. Stewart as Next Commissioner of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources

Concord, NH - Today, Governor Chris Sununu announced that he will nominate Sarah C. Stewart of Manchester, New Hampshire, to serve as the next Commissioner of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. The nomination will be made at the March 21st Executive Council meeting.

Sarah currently works in the private sector for B-Fresh Consulting, a small business that she started, and serves on the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and on the board of New Hampshire Citizens for the Arts.

"Sarah brings to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) a vast knowledge and passion for supporting our states vibrant arts and culture," said Governor Chris Sununu. "Sarah has what it takes to drive DNCR onward into the future by supporting and growing our states creative economy while protecting the forests, lands, and waterways that make our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family."
