Governor Chris Sununu Issues Proclamation Naming February 2017 as Black History Month
Concord, NH – Governor Chris Sununu today issued a proclamation commemorating February 2017 as Black History Month.
"I am honored to proclaim February 2017 as Black History Month in New Hampshire in celebration of the countless ways in which African Americans have helped to shape the vibrant culture of our country and our state, said Governor Chris Sununu. New Hampshire is proud to take part in this cherished celebration in order to observe and reflect upon the tremendous sacrifices that generations of African Americans have endured in their pursuit of equality for all."
