Governor Chris Sununu Directs Flags to Half-Staff, Issues Statement Following Death of Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill

Concord, NH – Today, following the death of Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill of the New Hampshire State Police in a motor vehicle crash, Governor Chris Sununu has directed flags on all public buildings and grounds in the State of New Hampshire to fly at half-staff effective immediately and until sunset on Sunday, October 31, 2021:

“The entire State of New Hampshire mourns the loss of Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill of the New Hampshire State Police today,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “Like all of our first responders, Staff Sergeant Sherrill was steadfastly devoted to the safety and wellbeing of his fellow Granite Staters. That he died while in the line of service is a terrible tragedy. In honor of Staff Sergeant Sherrill’s service to the Granite State, I have directed flags to fly at half-staff, effective immediately and until sunset on Sunday, October 31, 2021.”
