Governor Chris Sununu Directs Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of Patriot Day

Concord, NH – In accordance with federal law, Governor Chris Sununu has directed flags on all public buildings and grounds in the State of New Hampshire to fly at half-staff on Monday, September 11, 2023 in observance of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

"Each year, we pause to remember the solemn attacks of September 11," said Governor Chris Sununu. "In spite of the tragedy of that day and the lives lost, we remember the heroism of so many: the first responders who rushed into the burning towers without hesitation, the millions who rallied together in support of our nation, and of course, the courageous men and women who have fought to protect our country in the years since. I encourage all Granite Staters to pause and reflect upon the actions of these heroes. We will never forget."
