Concord, NH - Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement announcing the retirement of New Hampshire Department of Insurance Commissioner Roger Sevigny.

"For the past 16 years, Commissioner Sevigny has done a tremendous job leading the New Hampshire Department of Insurance," said Governor Chris Sununu. "His experience, passion, and dedication are unmatched, and I cannot thank him enough for years of service to the State of New Hampshire. We will have big shoes to fill with Roger's absence, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

"I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve our state and consumers for more than sixteen years and will certainly miss this work," said Insurance Commissioner Roger Sevigny. "The financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act made for challenging times, but was also rewarding.
