The total number of employed residents increased by 1,410 over the last month to 756,010. Following release of the report, Governor Sununu issued the following statement:

"New Hampshire families have benefited greatly from record-levels of economic growth in 2019," said Governor Chris Sununu. "Our focus on fostering the development of our workforce, while making high-paying, quality jobs available has paid off in dividends. 2019 was undoubtedly a banner year for the New Hampshire economy."

756,010 New Hampshire residents are now employed, an increase of 10,710 in the past year. The labor force has grown by 12,380 in the past year.

Today's jobs data follows earlier reports of positive economic indicators, which show that New Hampshire is the number one state for economic freedom, has the lowest poverty rate in the nation over the last three years, is the most popular place in the Northeast for millennials to locate themselves, has more people working than ever before, and is the number one state for taxpayer return on investment.
