“Bob Foster dedicated his life to bringing the news to the people of New Hampshire. As owner and publisher of one of the last family-owned newspapers in the nation, Bob carried on a family tradition of telling the stories that mattered to the communities his newspapers served.

“In over 60 years in the newspaper business and through his tireless efforts, Bob won a loyal, dedicated readership and many awards and accolades. Working alongside his wife, Terri, and his three children, Bob Foster brought new technology to his family of newspapers, while remaining committed to bringing readers the news of their local communities.

“Bob Foster loved his family, his newspaper, his community and his state. His passing is a tremendous loss for the State of New Hampshire.

“My thoughts and prayers, and those of my wife Susan, are with Terri and the entire Foster family.”
