CONCORD - Gov. John Lynch announced today that he has named Kristyn McLeod of Concord to serve as budget director.

“Kristyn McLeod will bring strong financial skills, a fresh, innovative perspective and a dedication to serving people to this post,” Gov. Lynch said. “She is someone who will be able to work closely with me, agency heads and legislators to continue our efforts to improve state government and use taxpayer dollars wisely.”

McLeod has a Master’s of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She previously served in former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen’s administration.

McLeod recently was an associate at Louis Karno & Company in Concord.

She will begin her duties as budget director next week.
