CONCORD - Continuing her efforts to support New Hampshire's job-creating small businesses, Governor Maggie Hassan has proclaimed Saturday, November 30, 2013, as "Small Business Saturday" in New Hampshire and is encouraging New Hampshire residents to shop at local stores this holiday season.
"New Hampshire's small businesses drive our economy forward, creating good jobs and strengthening our communities," Governor Hassan said. "By recognizing Small Business Saturday, we can help support those local businesses who contribute so much to our economy and communities. As we enter the holiday shopping season, I encourage New Hampshire residents to support our economy by shopping at local stores and businesses throughout our state."
